In 2017, Bobby’s father passed away. But the lessons he passed down—to do what’s right, to serve others, and to stay two steps ahead—remain etched into every decision Bobby makes as the founder of Covert Results. A Career in Law Enforcement

After graduating from the police academy, Bobby quickly found his place in investigative work. He spent over a decade working for the Metro Nashville Police Department, much of it focused on long-term surveillance operations and case-building for complex crimes. But like many dedicated public servants, he began to feel the strain—long hours, departmental politics, and time away from his growing family.

Still, he loved the work. And that love led to a realization: maybe he could serve differently. Maybe even better.

The Leap: Leaving the Badge Behind

In 2018, after 11 years in law enforcement, Bobby made the difficult decision to step away from the badge. With no outside funding, no guaranteed paycheck, and a lot of faith, he launched Covert Results.

His mission was simple: to provide professional private investigations and armed security services grounded in the same values that shaped him—accountability, professionalism, and results.
