Hemp Industry Security
Hemp farms in Tennessee have grown exponentially over the past few years. According to the TN Department of Agriculture there are over 3,000 hemp farms in Tennessee (and a few in neighboring states) as of May 2020. Issues can arise with this type of rise in hemp production. One of these issues can be theft of said hemp plants. Although motion censored lights and cameras can help catch or deter thieves, armed security is better to ensure complete protection. Interning for Covert Results
As a kid, I had many different ideas of what I wanted to do when I grew up. Going through college, I discovered that I am interested in intelligence and security, but had no idea where to start. My name is Abbie, I will be a senior at the University of Mississippi, and this summer, I am interning with Covert Results. After searching for a Nashville security internship on Google, I found Covert Results and was immediately intrigued to learn about private investigation. I had heard about it before and was interested in the field, but I never fully understood just how much private investigators do. Today is only my third official day and I have already learned and experienced so much.
Importance of Armed Security
Armed security is more efficient than other conventional means of surveillance and protection. Private security guards do a job that is basic to the protection of our safety. However, crime has increasingly improved its means and methods of attacking targets beyond essential camera deterrence. Thus, armed security has become increasingly relevant. Scaling to Billions
The team at Covert Results is constantly looking for avenues to improve. This week we were invited by EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) to attend the Scaling Up Reignite Summit 3.0. Moderated by Verne Harnish, founder of the world-renowned Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), with over 13,000 members worldwide, and chair, for fifteen years, of EO’s premiere CEO program, the “Birthing of Giants” held at MIT, a program which he still teaches in today. Panel speakers included: Mark Cuban, Steve Forbes, Kat Cole, David Gardner, and other very successful entrepreneurs.
Exposing Employees
Most of the time when we’re called to conduct surveillance, it means we need to actively watch where someone is going. Usually, we document what locations they go to, who lives there or if they go to a restaurant/bar, or if they’re meeting someone they shouldn’t. Since the pandemic has started we have had a surplus of calls wanting to make sure people are staying put. Many companies have contacted private investigators to ensure their employees are staying home and working. There have been multiple occasions where off-site employees are out and about rather than doing the job they were hired to do. Covert Results is Expanding to Clarksville
After 2 years of hard work, Covert Results is expanding. Up to this point, most of our work has taken place in Davidson County and immediate surrounding counties. These are the counties our investigators live in and where our clients have needed services. We have worked a handful of cases in Sumner, Wilson, Williamson, Robertson, Rutherford, Dickson, Cheatham, Humphreys, Maury, Coffee, Grundy, Madison, Shelby, Knox and a few other counties. For those cases, our Nashville investigators have been able to easily travel to those areas since they live or are reasonably close. We are excited to announce we’ve been able to more permanently expand and now we are offering our services in Clarksville!
